Scratch tester – CSM Instruments

 

This equipment is used to characterize the adhesive strength of coatings to a given substrate by performing a sliding indentation test. It allows the measurement of acoustic emission, the optical observation of cohesive/adhesive failures and monitors the applied normal force, the tangential (friction) force and the penetration depth.
